Vacuum Insulation Panels In Temperature Controlled Packaging

The superior insulation of Kevothermal’s Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) can offer advantages in Temperature Controlled Packaging (TCP) design.

The thinner wall thickness allows for smaller volumetric size of the shipper and often reduced weight, thus saving freight costs and this is often where the use of Vacuum Insulation Panels can provide a real benefit.

Alternatively, the high insulation values can provide increased duration performance, and enhanced resistance to high excursions of ambient temperature in challenging environments.

Temperature controlled packaging making use of Vacuum Insulation Panels

By combining Kevothermal vacuum superinsulation into a box system with a new, tough, non-metalized barrier structural film, we can produce a robust shipping container with thermal performance that far surpasses conventional foam boxes.

Kevothermal currently produce a range of standard sized shipping boxes, but any size can be readily manufactured to suit a specific customer's requirements. Our standard boxes can be supplied fully assembled with inner and outer carton, or as flat pack for customer assembly. For more information please see our fact file.
